Nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like a list of hit romantic comedies. I’m a huge fan of this genre with its entertaining combination of humor and romance; laughter and pitter-pat. Here’s a list of my fave clean rom-coms through the years:
- You’ve Got Mail
- Return to Me
- While You Were Sleeping
- It Happened One Night
- Bringing Up Baby
- Dan in Real Life
- My Big Fat Greek Wedding
- How to Marry a Millionaire
- Funny Thing About Love*
These movies are a good pattern for this workout actually. We get the tone up on our love handles – just like the side-splitting laughter of the comedy. And we get the heart rate up – just like the pitter patter of the romance. Start your day with this fun cardio workout at home and end your day with one of these incredible movies! *this one is my FAVORITE! It was also written and directed by my husband!
Trim down with me in this challenging cardio workout! We’ll be focusing on that troublesome area – the love handles. As we work the obliques every which way, the heart will be working all over the place too! Two birds, one stone. Major heart rate, love handle toning, one workout! Your fave moves will be the Zig Zag, Pocket Watch, and Double Lift. You’ll love/hate the Curtsy Lunges and the Plank Moguls (There’s different levels to try out for those moves.)
The book I refer to during the stretch is “Come Sweet Day” by Julianne Donaldson. Let’s all be more involved in our relationship with our Heavenly Father.
