GOOD CARDIO WORKOUT AT HOME

Have you ever had extreme nervousness at the start of the school year? Worrying about reactions to your new outfit & haircut, wondering where you will sit at lunch, who will be in your class … lots of new things all in one day.On the other side of the coin there is excitement! Showing off your new wardrobe and hair, creating a new group to sit with at lunch, eagerness to see old friends and make new ones … lots of new opportunity in one day! It all depends on how you look at it! I have memories of being terrified on the first day and needing a few weeks to adjust. But I also have memories of being so ready to start the new year with new classes!

I’ve been feeling ready for this school year to start and so ready to jump back into kickboxing! It’s been a while since I choreographed a fun kickboxing routine, and September is a great month to recharge my kicks and punches. Of course, kickboxing is a major cardio workout, but it’s also a total body toner. All 6 class periods (aka combinations) of this workout focus on A for arms, B for booty, and C for cardio. The mental challenge of coordination and memorization will keep you focused. “1 2 3, eyes on me!” – remember that one? Don’t be afraid to use the rewind button, and there’s lots of review at the end so you can conquer this fun kickboxing workout at home! I know you can do it!

Think “ABC” for this fun kickboxing class! We challenge the Arms, the Booty & bring the Cardio for 45 minutes! Your brain will be super busy remembering all the combinations of punches and kicks, and before you know it, you’ll be drenched in sweat! You’ll be kicking serious butt in this challenging kickboxing workout. But don’t worry. . . I take you through a foundational warm up that goes through all the punches and kicks we will be using. Come back to this one all month long so you can master it! Your favorite moves will be the 7-Up Kick Lunge Karate Squat and the Hi Lo Hammer Knee Side Push Kick combos!
